Do You Know Who I Am?

A woman tapped me on the shoulder trying to get to the front row of the MOFO Supergroup. “I should be in the front row. Do you know who I am?”

What I should have said was this:

“The lack of backstage pass means you are just as unimportant and uninvolved as the rest of us. But since you are trying to work your way to the front row as you are, it means you are either delusional enough to think that you played some part in something that mattered today, or you are selfish and narcissistic enough to not care that you are lying your way to get what you want. Either way, I know that you are someone I know far too well already, and whose existence makes the world a sadder and more upsetting place.”

… What did you actually say? I’m curious. 😛
