Spin the Globe with Justin Butner

A world citizen may provide value to society by using knowledge acquired across cultural contexts.

Now In Singapore

The Australian authorities have seen it fit to have me head on after only a year, lest I become too comfortable and decide to set up shop there permanently. I shall be back one day. Of that I am confident. But for today, with my visa expiring, I have headed on to other pastures.

Hopefully they will be greener. I can almost assure they will be less expensive.

I arrived in Singapore a couple hours ago and have found my way to my hostel. I’m settled in, if a bit confused at things like being in a new foreign country, having to change money again, and not having plugs that fit in any of the outlets. Those are relatively small things in the negative, compared to the overwhelmingly positive fact that my flight arrived safely and all of my stuff is still with me!

Onward to new adventures I suppose. Though the impressions of the recent ones will be in my head for quite some time.
